This model helps the professors and students stay abreast with the latest technology in their chosen field. Companies belong to both categories of service and product innovation.
Trinity College campus is home to Trivandrum Technology, a technology business incubator undertaken by the state government IT department subsidiary as well as UST Global's Automation Garage. UST Global is a billion dollar multinational founded in Trivandrum with operations in over a dozen countries today.
With its state of the art labs, enterprising faculty and enthusiastic students, Trinity undertakes external projects that spur innovation in numerous sectors. The college develops and delivers breathanalysers to the Kerala Police dept, IoT products and custom made robotics and electronics to the industry and healthcare sector.
Trinity is rated as the top college for entrepreneurship by the university and Kerala Startup Mission. It serves as the cluster head for other engineering colleges in Trivandrum for promoting startup culture. Trinity won the best emerging chapter and best faculty chapter awards from the Indian Society for Technical Education.
